This can compromise visibility when driving at night. When safety is compromised due to a manufacturer's defect, the manufacturer becomes liable. Hence, the updated bulletin putting the onus on them to foot the bill, not owners.

My lens replacement was approved by GM friday.

Gonna take a ton of pics around the exterior and interior of the car, around the headlight corners, etc. before taking to the autobody shop for lens replacement work.
Hopefully the facelift goes well. I know if I spend an hour or two taking pictures it will go well. If I don't take pictures for sure something will go wrong...

Have they done the work? No issues?

My dealer is still saying NO... I am going in to have a face to face with them, bulletin in hand.

Since a lot of people are having this issue and after warranty replacement it happening again, I think the best route to take is wait until just before the end of the B to B expires and have them replaced. I’m pretty sure you would get another 12 months to have them replaced if it happens again. I’ll be doing that in a year and a half. Someone correct me if I’m wrong about the 12 month replacement part warranty.

Not yet, the warranty work was "approved", but the parts aren't in yet. No ETA yet.
My B2B expires in 30 days, but I think since this was "well documented" with my service advisor 2 years ago, and very recently, and the pictures of the streaks shows they have not changed at all, should be enough to defend a position that this should be handed under warranty.
I will just wait and see, plus I purchased the platinum service contract. What concerns me with the GM platinum contract is that it says "pre-existing" conditions are NOT COVERED.

Ok, got my lenses replaced and picked up car today.
I looked carefully to see if the corners appeared to be binding with the front fascia, looks good. No sign of streaks on the new units. Closing this chapter out. Now I need to find out if there is someone selling pre-cut Xpel. I am thinking to apply that and then apply ceramic, or may just go back to ceramic only.

I also did a complete DCTF fluid swap +1L of track fluid and also replaced the air filter since it was at 23% and they would have to cover open anyway to do the DCT fill and track fill.
Was having some odd "crunchy" sort of sounds with the coupe top when driving slowly over uneven ground, over curbs, etc where the body was twisting and the service advisor told me there is a TSB for that issue which appeared to be the case. Looks like the fixed that issue 90%, still investigating the source of a couple other odd noises.

I just inspected my headlights yesterday and “both” have milky drips on the inside lens. I have a ‘23 HTC with PPF on the front end but nothing on the lens itself. Car has 1400 miles and always garage kept and rarely sits outside. I have an appointment at the dealer next week…fingers crossed!

Since it will automatically reappear for no apparent reason, I decided to wait till my 3/36 warranty is closer to being over before they touch my car.

good luck and let us know how it goes
