Default Ppf cost

Was just quoted 500 for a single stage paint correction, 460 for gtechniq 9 year ceramic coating, and 2350 for xpel ppf which covers the front bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, side skirts and partial door by the side vents. How do these prices look? Please let me know if this is over kill or too expensive, thank you

I'd say the cost for the PPF is not unreasonable.

For the PPF package you mentioned, I was quoted $2200 for SunTek. Seems to be the going rate...

If at all possible, do reference checks. Get a full understanding of how/where they will wrap the edges and tuck between the panels. Ask if they remove the hood emblem to run the PPF under it. It's only as good as your installer, so let them know what you expect to be done. This should all be written in their quote.

One more thing to ask. How many years has the actual installer been doing this? Not how many years the company has been in business. Yes insist of no seams. Find out the details of their prep procedures. I've had PPF come loose too often within 2 months of application. Ask them to get under the badging. I don't know how they can remove the Corvette script and put it back accurately. Othen times they don't prep the bottom of the rocker panel as good as the hood. That's where my problem was. Had to take it back three times. Not using that installer again.
