I tried to order the Blendmount today but they are saying that the unit for the HTC is expected 8 September, so I guess I'll have to wait. It is definitely the premier solution.

When I ordered mine, there were 40 or so in stock.

Perhaps they ran out.

I think it depends on which detector you have. Mine is Radenso.

Wire tap instructions have been posted several times on other threads. Do a search and you'll find them.

Know folks "like video's rather than read!'" That's why I have `25 for my business. BUT hate armature video's and if they are past ~5 minutes folks drop off! Hard to make a quality 5 minute video on changing brake pads, etc!

Making a quality video takes a "Story board, video clips, integration with quality software, clear concise voiceover, quality transitions between clips and legal background music!" So I have made ~50 PDFs that are many pics with long captions of my C7 and C8 mods- far too many Pics to post on a Thread. The PDF's are just like the "story board" first step I make for my business video's! So here is How I Tapped my C8 Mirror: http://netwelding.com/Radar_Detector_Power.pdf

BTW, one pic is from the 1st video that showed it could be done. BUT not enough detail on how to remove that mirror back or make room for the wires! Finding a ground position is more difficult that their "insert black wire!" All it did for me was prove it worked! Pics I provide help!

Nearly $200.00. Pricey to be sure, and from their picture, it looks like I may need an engineer to install this:

mig - well done. Looks great, looks compact, looks stable and I myself awaiting delivery now and due early this coming week. Will be mounting an Escort Redline 360c to the BlendMount.

Your photos confirm that these BlendMount's are certainly not the "monstrosity" as described in another recent thread. Thanks for posting them.

What was the worst part of the installation? I have installed 3 of these in (2 Corvettes & 1 Toyota). Each one was unique. My C8 will also be with the V1G2.
