For what it's worth, we sold my girlfriend's 2019 Elkhart Lake Blue Stingray 1LT automatic on Wednesday. A guy up in MD made us a very good cash offer - sight unseen - via a phone call. He sent a car carrier to pick it up on Wednesday. We got well more than we paid for it brand new!

This was a Mike Furman Corvette we purchased new and had 5,700 gentle miles on it over nearly 2 1/2 years. Someone will soon own a wonderful C7 that was pampered.

We still have my 2017 Torch Red Stingray 2LT - which is also a Mike Furman car that I ordered new. We found ourselves always taking one car or the other to Corvette club functions and both agreed that we wanted to keep mine [15,500 miles now] because of the manual transmission & the 2LT trim level.

Admittedly, the ELB color blows everything else away. Had hers been a 2LT manual, we would have sold mine instead.

Keep up the good work and maybe we will be looking at getting a 2027 Z06 after we retire in five years.

Saying goodbye to her was not easy. We loved our blue beauty that we bought new from Mike Furman and are happy to know that someone else will enjoy owning this great car.

We are keeping my 2017 Stingray 2LT manual -- also a Mike Furman Corvette. This one still only has 15,500 miles on it.

I really like it. It's almost as the young lad is saying, "See that car? I'm going to own it before my dad will be able to believe it!"

Thanks Mike!

Hi Mike...sorry I'm late. I was the Emcee of Corvette FunFest on the grounds of Mid America Motorworks last weekend!

I absolutely love these old pictures you post every Sunday. I was drawn to this particular picture-it's the #1 Le Mans car from 1960. Briggs Cunningham took 3 cars to race at Le Mans in 1960. We know where the #2 and #3 cars are, but this #1 car has been lost for a very long time!

Well, after years of legal battles, the Cunningham family has purchased the car back at auction. Kevin Mackay now has the car at Corvette Repair on Long Island, New York and is restoring the car the way you see it here. You can hear the entire story of this car on the CORVETTE TODAY podcast. Kevin was my guest last week and tells the story of this car! Listen to Episode #74 to hear this story on CORVETTE TODAY at https://adori.page.link/corvette-today

It's amazing to see all the changes and building since I first went there. Back when I first attended the school, the "Corvette building" was brand new. That later became the admin building, then a gift shop of sorts. It's the building now, as you come into the main gate (no gatehouse back then, either). Changes, many.

Great pics and stories. A number of unfortunate situations for some of the Corvettes in the pics.

That Jake Stinger in Carbon Flash is the bomb!

The literal “cherry on top” is the CORVETTE RACING below Jake in red lettering.
