Need to update spreadsheet
My computer is down right now. Not able to update spreadsheet with my iPhone. If someone could put the date 12 – 14– 21 in the column heading 5000 for me, that would be great. Thanks, Benagi Vin 8144

08882 Delivered!

2 months to the day from allocation to delivery. Salesman told me earlier this morning that tracking showed the car in Albuquerque, NM. 5 minutes later, inventory manager called and said car is at the dealership and in PDI. Suffice to say I dropped everything and headed straight to the dealership. Pictures just do not do this car justice!

Now off for wheels, PPF, and Ceramic Coating…

Not sure if this is what happened to you, but this aligns with my theory, unfortunately.

Quote: I'm just saying what I was told. He said it was already built and he needed to submit another order so he asked if there was anything that I wanted to change from my old order. The sequencing of the Vin's was my first thought and maybe they were off. Your assumption of #2 may be 100% correct, but we will probably never really know.

Just got the call from my dealer. My Vette was on the BGA production line when the tornado hit and is now totaled. RIP Vin - 10133.

My VIN is 10052 so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that no news from my dealer is good news for my order.

Damn sorry to hear for those whose cars were scrapped. Hopefully all the replacements will go to the top of the list when things resume.

How can they bump later VINs to the front? I was just notified that my was scrapped and a new order already submitted. But with VIN's being published for a few weeks out, how do they move my xxx19 in front of xxxx1? Not being a "naysayer" , just really interesting in the production control aspect and interested how they juggle all of this.

Never thought about that. Interesting question. Maybe they just skip those VINs and just continue the replacement vehicles in sequence? Someday when you go to buy a '22 Stingray, you'll look at the VIN and see one in the wrecked range and know it's a fake!

Wonder too if someone in the range of affected VINs paid the extra dough to have a special VIN for themselves?
