We have 75000 Stingrays out there. I bet there are a few owners that have done Launch's right after 500 miles. How many DTC failures has GM attributed to doing Launch's between 500 and 1500 miles? Or even before 500miles?
Has there been an "Advisory Doc" sent to dealership reminding customers not to do Launch's early?
Funny, most DTC failures are from folks who don't do any driving over 4K rpm and never do a Launch.
Drive it like you sole it.. The dealership can fix it for free, if it ever happens.
