Spoke to soon, Shane just confirmed the plant is shutdown next week, so I'll be getting a 1 year raincheck on the tour.

What parts? I'd like to think the computer chip problem was behind us.

Maybe they could use the week to ship rear parking sensor modules.

Read that last paragraph. Makes zero sense. This person must be angling for a communications job at the White House.

There are still a lot of supply chain issues. I work in a large fleet and Ford just canceled 30 mid-roof Transit vans mere weeks before production. Boom gone and out of the production schedule. We have to reorder them as they are not carried over into the next quarter (Ford is giving quarterly allocation to Commercial fleets). Semi-trucks and trailers continue to be a challenge to get built as well. FOR SURE, it is better than it's been (and thankful for that). Some mfg. are running ahead and have open build availability. Haven't seen that since 2019. It's a slow recovery, but a recovery nonetheless with some lingering hurdles.

They've been doing a great job , very productive. Nice for them to get some time off.

On another note - remind me to move to Bowling Green and get a job at the assembly plant . Must be nice to get a week off every 3 or 4 months

Careful there, you might make too much sense. Well past Q4 22 and still no word about those sensors.
