Late 2023 with 4700 miles delivered Sept 2023

Two nights ago I pulled into the garage the car acted like it was going to stall. Creeping forward was jerky and abrupt. The next day I noticed a vibration (almost like riding over a rumble strip) on upshifts. Starting from a stop or creeping forward felt like it did when I pulled into the garage the night before. Overall, most shifts have gotten very jerky and not smooth.

There are no error messages or CEL, I have not scanned for codes. I contacted my dealer and will get it in next week.

I did watch a video from Brink of Speed where he had the exact same problem and and ECM flash and "global reset" fixed it. I have some hope but I also (obviously) follow the various threads here and know it's not usually that simple.

Sure hope it actually is that simple. Having problems with such low mileage is a real PITA.

I brought it in on 15 April, Tax Day. So far, no word but fingers crossed it's as simple as the attached video.

Still nothing. In fairness, despite my appointment, they did tell me it would take a couple of days.

UPDATE: The car has been at the dealer for two and a half weeks. They've run diags as Chevy has called out and are waiting for GM to tell them what's next. The service advisor mentioned having to use a borescope. Why would that be needed for a jerky DCT? I'm trying to figure out what path they're going down with that.

It allows them to see if there is any debris and/or scoring without fully disassembling.

I heard from the Service Manager and they have completed their analysis per GM's requirements and have sent the results off to GM for a determination on next steps. They told me it needs a new transmission.

That's my thought, too. GM's recall tracker shows nothing, I'm not sure why it takes so long for GM to generate a VIN range. Why bother announcing it if you can't tell dealers whether a car "qualifies"?

Mine's September 2023 as well with a VIN 4088X but I only have 1,600 miles so far. So far, so good on my car.

This is scary though!

I've been saying that since the recall was announced. Makes sense that it's the late 23s /24s that got the new DCT with increased baffling.

While I wait around and another Cars and Coffee passes with no car, I decided to open a case with Chevy. I contacted Corvette Concierge to do this after looking having no luck determining how to open a ticket with the "Executive" resolution team mentioned in other threads. I don't really know if this will do anything but it won't hurt.

I reached them by emailing Mary Barra re: my experience. Her email is mary.barra@gm.com

From what I learned, they are a slightly-elevated call center group, so temper your expectations.

Hang in there, and stay on them!

Just checked...build date is August 2023. Puchased early September 2023 as dealer stock.
