What I notice is the foolishless of your posts!
For lack of understanding (or purposely) you disregard the fact that for my 2014 C7 Z51 without MRC and that fact that you can buy C8 Z51s (or could) without MRC and Track the car. Without MRC there is ZERO effect on suspension or Ride if in Touring or Track.
But then you would have to understand something about cars, chassis, MRC etc!

MyMode, which says " Use to personalize everyday driving. This mode allows the driver to configure the driver systems to their driving preferences," allows engine sound, steering, brake feel, and suspension to be set to track". There is no caution anywhere in the manual about setting any of those customizable parameters to Track.

Great! As you say, it states: "Use for closed racetracks." It doesn't say only which some want to interoperate it as meaning.
SIDEBAR
As you say they could have added ONLY! But then I recall the several hour conversations we have had, many times at our Tech Society's "Technical Advisory Council." Those are 2 day meetings, held twice a year and the subject it comes up frequently. Been on that Commitee for >30 years as Chair of one of the specification committees (can't get anyone else to take it!) We debate which words Shall, Should, Must, Only are proper words to be use in our several hundred Technical Codes the Society publishes for welding Bridges, Buildings, Ships, Airplanes etc
The Bridge Welding code is over and inch thick and we are not even consistent in in that one Doc! A legal concern.
Recall in one meeting we had the Society's Attorney answer the Shall/Should question. Bottom Line, whatever you use, a lawyer can twist the words to win their client's case! We do have rules and are getting better but when you have volunteer members writing codes, all the main committee chairs typically type "A" personalities, hard to be consistent!

I believe you can adjust the same shift-points in the MyMode setting. This will keep the engine rpm higher (at any given speed) where torque is more abundant and oil pressure in the transmission higher, which may allow it to shift faster (not sure if that applies to the Tremec DCT, but it's a factor with most automatic transmissions). One other difference is that in track mode, V4 mode (AFM) is disabled. The difference in throttle response when V4 mode is active is small but not zero since the system must disengage before you can get full torque.
Depending on how much you enjoy this (we are not judging...) track mode (or selecting the higher shift points in MyMode) will have a significantly negative effect on gas mileage, so if it matters to you, you may want to watch out for that before you make it a habit
