Non matching seat belt color
Is it ok to have a different seat belt color other than the color of your car’s interior or exterior. I’ve seen it a few times and actually liked it. Mostly seen yellow belts. Just curious on opinions.

I never worry about what other people think when choosing colors or options on my cars. If you like it that's all that matters.
Some folks hate my spec but I love it!

IMO, seatbelts are perhaps the most ugly and/or boring components of a sportscar's interior. So I typically get black as they tend to blend in as opposed to being the first thing that draws your attention when looking at an interior. Which is typically the case if you have miss-matched seatbelts such as yellow with red interior, orange with blue interior etc...
However, having said that you should get whatever color seatbelts you want in your car. Don't worry what other's think.

I am one to limit colors to 3 though. In my case Elkhart Lake Blue, red bolsterpimps. Red canlipers and Carbon Flash. I considered the red seatbelts, but wouldn't have considered another color. To me once you go beyond 3 colors it starts to get a bit garish or pimpy.

I was going to reply to your other thread but lets go. The hell with what anyone thinks. Opinions are like @ssholes everyone has one. While I am not jumping off the deep end like @progtp and I must say brother that looks badass for sure, I have a Ceramic Gray/Cool Gray and ordered bright red calipers with my car. I recently picked up a set of red belts and I am really on the fence about installation. I just want different. If you have ever seen a FIFTY Camaro you know all the enhancements are an orange. A couple years back I ordered orange belts for a "hot wheels addition" Camaro and swapped them out. I like it. @Corvette03051 You keep talking about it. I know its expensive to have the dealer do, but I have seen several threads mention how easy it is. My Camaro wasnt bad and I can't see the C8 being any different. Pull the damn trigger and make it happen. Keep this in mind, black belts are worth chit, put them on the shelf, if it bothers you that much swap back. I promise you do it once, the next time will be a breeze. Then you sell the colored belts at maybe a $50 loss. Good luck brother.

YOUR car? If so, who cares? Paint it polka-dot with paisley seat-bents if you like it.
