C8 Convt headroom

I'm 6'2, with a 32-inch inseam. Even with the seat all the way down and the seat back all the way back, the headroom is a little tight. Maybe so tight I would get a coupe. In my 2007 Convertible there is no problem. Anybody else have an issue with the C8 Convertible headroom?

There is actually about 1.5" more headroom in an HTC than a coupe because there is no beam across the b-pillars. I am a bit smaller than you but close and I have good clearance in the HTC but I can feel the closeness when in a Coupe. I have had 2 HTC's and don't have an issue with clearance.

I would think that continued experimentation with the seating position will get you into a comfortable position that allows for sufficient headroom.

Depends on if you're leggy or not. I'm 6'5" and even proportions. I have absolutely no chance of fitting in an HTC unless I recline the seat so far back I'm basically leaning. The HTC has the same headroom throughout the car given there isn't a b-pillar, but less room in front of where the b-pillar would be.
I do fit under the targa of the coupe with some room to spare. The targa has more headroom, but you can't move the seat as far back given the b-pillar is there, which means less legroom in the coupe. I chose the coupe so I could actually fit in the car. Sad because I really wanted an HTC, but had no prayer of fitting of one.
Go sit in a few coupes and a few HTCs. The coupe is taller than the HTC when under the targa (and the transparent roof adds another inch or so), but the HTC has more headroom when the seat is pushed back.

Both the coupe and the convertible I sat in were both low option LT1's. The coupe had the painted roof panel. I didn't really spend a lot of time in either trying to get comfortable, maybe that was the problem. I don't like leaning way back in my seat when I'm in any vehicle. It seemed like there was more headroom in the coupe, maybe it was my imagination.

This. I'm literally the same dimensions as the OP and I only feel a slight tickle when my hair grows out. lmao Just fiddle with seat, you'll find the right spot.

I'm also 6'2" with a 32-33" inseam. I have a 2023 HTC and zero issues. I feel I have a surprising amount of room given how small the car is. I definitely have a couple inches between my head and the roof when I try to hit it, (e.g. show someone how much headroom there is). I just came back from Ron Fellows where I drove a coupe with the standard top on, and even with a helmet didn't hit. It was of course closer, but not an issue. My understanding is that the coupe glass top gives more room because you don't have the insulation/headliner on the inside, so you may want to try that?

It is reclined a lot but definitely not completely. I don't like being up on the steering wheel because my arms are long too so I adjust for arms resting on the arm rests and the best peripheral visibility of the side mirrors. Meaning if I'm too far forward I have to turn my head more to use the side mirrors vs. set back a little more I can see and use them more with my peripheral vision.
