So, I'm wondering how many of you have spent $650 on those XL ACS Rock Guards. I'm not averse to spending the $ I'm just wondering if folks find that it's worth it. Thanks.
I bought the ACS XL rock guards for my C8 almost four years ago. Like all ACS products, they have great quality, fit & finish. Also like all ACS products, they are on the pricey side (although they weren't anywhere near $650 when I bought mine). In the case of rock guards you will probably be satisfied with other, less expensive, products. Personally, I always go with ACS when the have a version of the product I'm looking for. That includes splitter & undertray, side skirts, rock guards, wickers, etc.
Especially if you have wheel spacers or custom wheels that stick out more. Fronts are all you need IMO.
There are several less expensive ones out there but a big difference is in how far the front guards extend down. The damage comes from the front tires kicking back stones from ground level, that’s why being longer is important.

Simplest solution is the best solution. The $60 mud flaps from amazon or eBay work perfectly. More money is not more better.
Agree on the price gouging of some things. That price for splash/rock guards is crazy. I picked up a pair from amazon for $45. Snapped in just fine and do the same job as more expensive ones I'm sure. Some things I'll pay the extra price for, but this was not one of those times.
Not sure why (unless your Vette build is a show car) one would spend 650 on a product that is literally designed to get beat up so the rest of the car is protected. I would go cheaper as long as fit and finish is acceptable to you. That way replacement, should you need to, isn’t such an expense.
ACS sells them for $573.85 and they are on sale right now for $474. They protect really well and match up nicely if you also get the splitter and side skirts.
