Does anyone have a 2024 - 2026 Convertible with the Engine Appearance Package? I plan to install the package myself next week, but would like to know where to install the Engine Specification Plaque.
My '24 HTC Stingray has the Engine Appearance package. My understanding is that the engine badge only came on the coupe, not the HTC. Here is what mine looks like. I am the second owner, so I did not order it this way. I'm glad it is there, although I wish the engine cover was red.
Correct me if I am wrong, but not all HTC's come with an engine cover, that is only part of the Appearance package. And, there was a choice for either gray or red.
Only HTCs with the Engine Appearance Package have an intake manifold engine cover. You can order the individual components to make the package yourself through GM (Rear Window Panel, Engine Specification Plaque, Intake Manifold Cover, and ther 4 Bolts to attach the Cover to the intake manifold). The Plaque was not available through my dealer at the time, so I ordered it through West Coast Corvettes, but it came without any mounting instructions. I wanted to place the Plaque on the Window Panel prior to installing the Window Panel in the car because I thought it would be easier to do it hat way.
