I bought Rubber Hockey Pucks on Amazon. They work great for under $20 for 5.
One for the jack, 4 for the jack stands.
I jack up one side, put in 2 jack stands with pucks, then the jack the other side and put in stands.
With rubber, when the car is jacked on one side and at an angle, no worries about it slipping off.
Aluminum pucks may not work for that.
Some people use cheap rubber hockey pucks while others use expensive anodized colored aluminum ones, they both work so whatever you are comfortable with
I prefer the hard rubber ones over the leave-in metal ones. They are more resistant to slipping off jack stands, won't be in the way if a V Bridle needs to be used, and won't fall off and cause damage.
I made mine for the C5 and still have them for my C8. I think the total cost was about $2. for the eye screws and the used hockey pucks were free from the local hockey rink.

Those work... until they don't. That's when your C8 unfortunately needs a tow and the tow truck driver whips out their tow strap then proceeds to look for the slots to hook up their tow strap. Doh! They find out there's lifting pucks installed with them. Hopefully you have a tow hook too...
