my car was built on 2/9 and is still sitting at the factory today.
its been 5 weeks and counting at 3800.
What has your dealer said about this?
In the past I have seen folks with this issue say the car was pulled for extra inspections (random quality assurance), or pulled due to a manufacturing issue which needed to be remedied.
unless you are doing ncm delivery, asking shane is really taking advantage of him and the ncm. At least become a member if you are not one already. Your dealer should provide this information for you.

Thanks for your response. As I have been a member of the museum for many years I’ll take it that you think it’s ok to ask now.
Hello there!
Is this your first Corvette or one of many?
I did a museum delivery on my first one in December of 2004, like I will do with this one. Bought my C7 off of a lot.
My first corvette was a 70 bridgehampton blue that a deer committed suicide on in 1982.
The 2026 riptide C8 will be the first since then.
When did you order it? I’m at status 3000 and the order was placed on 2/17
My Eray was placed the end of January. Today I actually contacted Shane from the museum and he told me it was now at 3400 status and had a TPW of 3/16.
Don’t contact Shane at the museum to inquire on the status or TPW unless you have a museum delivery with them. People on the forum will get upset and tell you that it’s unfair to him unless you are a museum member( which I am) and getting it delivered through the museum experience( which I am also doing).
I hope you get some news soon my friend. Good luck and enjoy the wait/ride.
So, I will be ordering about a month from now. If you all don't mind, can anyone provide an "average" time from the "order" to "delivery"? I realize everyone has a different dealer and so forth. So my research seems to be (f.e. from order to delivery) on average about 8 weeks. Is this figure about right?

you may need to consider changeover to 2027 model by then.

MM always quotes 8-12 weeks…..
my order went in 2-13 is scheduled for production 3-12 and I’m guessing a few weeks to get to the dealer….

Could get to the dealer as quickly as the day after it is built. Always loaded transports headed to MacMulkin. My C6 arrived at my Dallas area dealer in 1 day.

😳🤯😎
oh and correction scheduled production is 3-17 happy St. Patties day
Am told now that 3300 to 3400 occurs when you are about one week from production. Chevrolet knows your probable production day even at 3300. VIN maybe later. That doesn't necessarily mean that you get to know either, however.
