I guess I have been luckier than that, Jag & SOS. Have no idea what the difference would be. If you were at 2000 & 3000 you had no constraints. ???
This is for a 3LT Stingray:
Deposit at MacMulkin on Th 1/29 (1000)
Allocation & accepted at GM F 2/13 (2000)
Accepted by Production Control W 2/18 (3000)
Scheduled for Production Th 3/5 (3300)
Internal Plant Broadcast F 3/20 (3400)
Production/Assembly - based on VIN - tomorrow - Th 3/26 (3800)!!!!
I have never gotten the welcome email from Chevrolet.
I was never told a TPW (Tentative Production Week), but the Museum did mention a probable production day of 3/26 back on 3/5 - I am doing an R8C delivery. It looks like I made it for a hand-off the day before the Bash, which was my plan in January.

Bayed in storage lot for a few days/over the weekend. (4B00)
Trucked over to the NCM today, T 3/31 (4200 & 5000)
R8C delivery confirmed for a day before the Michelin Bash W 4/22!!!

Is it typical for cars to be held at the NCM for that long (3 weeks)?
You'd think they either don't have the room or want the responsibility for it in case of damage.

Looks like they have a less glamorous holding area outside of the museum. I'd imagine they have to have some flexibility for travel and special events like Bash.
