I use my USB stick for music. Took the stick out and added some music and now the car doesn't recognize anything being plugged in so I attempted a reset of the head unit but it didn't react to me holding the button down.
suggestions?
Others know more than I, so
* start the car, open the drivers door, shut off the car, wait 2 minutes, close the door( this is also a reset process )
* check the USB memory stick on a computer, insure files and directories can be opened and checked
* do a file system check by right clicking on the drive, select Properties, select Tools, Select Check
* You could delete songs, files, directories that were added if you remember what was added
* you might find other files that were added by error
* Last resort, reformat the USB stick and add songs again
If all this fails, you may have blown the USB port fuse!
Did you use the preferred method of converting songs to a Stingray play list? If you add songs, you need to add in the right format.
That is how I did it. I will try to attach the pdf..
