Just a heads up to those who haven’t gotten a chance to look into ordering info. I just sent a deposit to MacMulkin Chevrolet for a GS allocation. The deposit fee is $3,500, they said that they have 9 names on an “unofficial list” so far. I’ve been in contact with Adam for a few weeks now, as well as Adrian. Both are extremely professional and easy to work with. So far the experience has been as smooth as I’ve expected from them. They told me they expect allocation numbers to arrive at the end of the month, and that they expect deliveries around the start of summer.
Being one tier above the stingray, I’m assuming that I won’t run into the same order issues (constraints aside) that some of the bigger models get, but I’m also trying to stay positive.
I’ll keep this thread updated on my order process and allocation number to better assist those that might be looking to place an order.
My order plan:
Grand Sport Coupe
3LT
Black
Jet black interior with microfiber inserts if available
Competition seats with red stitching
Red seat belt
Bright red calipers
Gloss black wheels
Z52 Track Package
Engine lighting
Stealth interior package (if available)
No front lift
My expectation is for MSRP to land somewhere in the mid 120s for this setup. Hopefully I’m not too far off.

Reason: Added GSX to title for GSX orders.
Youre getting Z52 but NOT getting magride so you have PTM available??
Or does Z52 include it?
Yes I was pretty surprised as well, keep in mind though that this was their “unofficial list”, their actual allocation list may be different.
When I get my actual allocation number I’ll update so people who might want to place an order know where things stand.
Also we have to keep in mind that this is just the lowly GS, I’m sure GSX, ZR1 and ZR1X order numbers look vastly different than this. My friend placed an order with MacMulkin when the Z06 came out; he was number 650 ish and it took him two years to get down into the 100s, by then he ended up canceling his order before going to 2000 status (at which point your deposit becomes non-refundable).
In an odd way I’m glad I’m not in the position to try and order a ZR1X….
Who believes dealers will be pricing above MSRP for the GS models? If it is in demand as much as it appears it might be, I wouldn't be surprised if they do. New model and big HP numbers,
I'm not...Trade-in values way down, Stock market way down, and everyone still waiting for pricing
100% agree.
The car isn’t fresh like it used to be, 5,300 Corvettes currently in inventory. People are definitely tighter; I originally planned to get a used 2026 Z06 and I can assure you, if I had a Z06 I wouldn’t think for a second to trade it in for a GS. Most people that have stingrays that don’t care for the wide body won’t be getting in line either. The people that care about the engine that much already jumped into Z06 or higher. I would bet you’ll see incentives at the end of the year to take new orders, like they currently have.
Also the pricing is going to catch some people off guard I think. When the hype dies down and a $93k base MSRP shows up, it’s going to take the wind out of a lot of people’s sails. A nicely specced 2LT coupe will rip past 100k very quickly. The HTC will probably come in at $99,998 (a six digit start price will scare people away, so let’s take 2 dollars off and that will make people feel better).
Now the ZR1 and ZR1X? Completely different ball game. 57 ZR1 and 14 ZR1X in inventory at the moment.
Very fortunate to be able to place an order for this car.

As Zy said, MacMulkin does not charge markup on orders (lot cars are different). This is why I’m going through them instead of purchasing down here in SWFL. Purchasing vehicles down here is a chore at best.
Placing an order down here will almost certainly get me hit with ADM, (with very few exceptions) and most likely will be told about it as the car is sitting right in front of me. Word of mouth isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on.

Hi from one of those other nine.
Waiting to hear back from Adam to complete my deposit. Kinda surprised there's only nine of us on their list as big as they are, as I've heard longer from some others. One of the Hendrick group told me last month I would be in the 40s on their list...apparently they started taking names some time ago but not deposits yet.
My first time playing the ordering game, so I'm sure it will be an interesting ride. Still chewing on my build and of course, waiting to see how much I'm writing down that I can't afford.

Im in exactly the same boat! First time ordering like this. Keep in mind I don’t know if that list means people that have already given deposits, or just total names on a list.
I’m just passing on what I’m hearing. I’m sure things will change quickly. The car was just officially released a few days ago so I’m sure the number will go up fast, but like already discussed, there won’t be 600 people waiting for an allocation at MacMulkin like there was the first months after the Z06 was announced.
Another thing to note, I was told Adam doesn’t work on Saturday, so I called in and spoke with Adrian and he was able to forward me the Docusign documents and give me the wire transfer information. I was just too impatient to wait until Monday.
Hello fellow waiter-ers. I was hoping to get it today, but alas. I don't care about first, I care about getting it this summer. I wanna DRIVE before we get to winter.
Wonderful! Boy it is going to be an exciting wait. I hope MacMulkin sells at MSRP so other dealers that add a $$ get lost.
Like the mean black look. I want a new Corvette with the LS6 engine!

No need to hope. MacMulkin sells at MSRP or less. See post #10 and the image in post #12 where the retail order states:
YOUR CUSTOM ORDERED CORVETTE GRAND SPORT
WILL BE PRICED AT MSRP
I would love to order a new GS but my problem is I would have to have damn near every option. At that probable price point I might as well get a used Z.
And I completely agree with the speculation above about why there might be fairly short wait lists for the GS. Most Stingray owners don't want the wide body and everyone else already has an E-Ray or Z, and they certainly aren't going to trade down to a GS. It's those of us that are stuck in between for one reason or another that makes the GS appealing.
