No dealers have been mentioned on this forum that are charging any more than MSRP on early deposits.
Everything will be managed for a startup new design as can be, no one wants to wait for perfection nor expects it.
I don't expect any epic fail, some issues sure.
I expected some on my C7 and not had a one.
Well I have owned 25 new Corvettes in my past and have had many epic fails and disappointments especially with first model year cars from GM.

then don't buy one,,just wait till the c9 comes out

Maybe my 55 years in the service business (computers and cars) gives me a different perspective on problems.
If someone said the C8 will overheat on the track, engines blow up when run hard, tires will crack if driven in cold weather, and the removable roof panel will squeak when you hit a bump......
I would say let me buy one the sooner the better.
BTW I am expecting a long list of complaints about the DCT if it has one and some electronic gremlins.

Dealer deposits on a car not out yet is a scam. It does not exist.
