You completely missed my point which was why should my choice of wheel finish have any effect anyone else's choice of wheel finish.
I prefer chrome, but I don't get on this forum stating that black wheels should be discontinued just because I personally don't want them on MY Corvette.

I got your point. To each their own.
I had a C6-Z with the stock "shiny" wheels but they weren't chrome.
Alot of people think anything "shiny" is chrome which was my point.
There are other options than Black like polished, gray, brushed, standard aluminum so on. All are a good option but seriously this is 2018 and chrome wheels imo are tacky on a sports car (or any car for that matter). GM benchmarks other high-end sports cars and none of them offer chrome wheels.

If I could afford a high-end car and I thought chrome wheels would look good on it, then I would have the wheels chromed. Period!
Personally, I also like the brushed or polished look or both combined depending on what I thought would look the best in my opinion.
