Lime Rock?
There certainly won't be a C8 race car if that is what you are expecting.
July 18 is apparently the Automotive Hall of Fame Induction ceremony, right here in Detroit...

Im not suggesting it will race there. C7R is committed to 2019 IMSA schedule.
Lime Rock is a big deal to Corvette, and the Corvette Racing team.
They even wrote a nice little story July 18th, 2018 about it: https://www.corvetteracing.com/news/...y-the-numbers/

CORVETTE RACING AT LIME ROCK PARK: By the Numbers
DETROIT (July 18, 2018) – Corvette Racing continues its 20th season campaign at a place where, unsurprisingly, has a strong history. The program has won five times in 11 visits at Lime Rock with the most recent being one of the biggest milestones in Corvette Racing history…

As of right now there is no information about The Corvette Corral at Lime Rock. In recent years GM has eschewed the corral at Lime rock although the Race Team headed by Corvette Racing's Doug Fehan made an appearance at the parking area and very graciously (as he always does) took the time to update everyone on recent IMSA and Corvette info and to answer all questions. Perhaps the C8 REVEAL that will take place just across the border in NY that very same week will spur GM to make the car available for the large audience that always shows up at the Lakeville event. It sure would be a good time to reach alternative car owners as there are many BMW, FORD, PORSCHE, NISSAN, FERRARI, VIPER, ASTON MARTIN, etc. owners there who vote with there checkbooks.
Lime Rock if your listening, get on the stick and get the C8 there! Contact Harlan Charles, Tage Juechter, or Doug Fehan to make it happen. I bet you sell every ticket you make to the race!!!!!

I'll be there anyway, so I hope you're right. The reason for the 7/18/19 date, as I understand it, is it is the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, so maybe it will be down at Kennedy...I have no idea, I don't know someone who knows someone, no inside information, just a total wild guess.

Although Limerock is a lousy (IMO) track for a professional roadrace, most likely it is where the first big public viewing will be.
BTW, I checked for any major car shows around that time (there isn't any).

Zora was inducted into the hall in 1991.
and, the Lime Rock Grand Prix weekend doesn’t really start until the 19th so there’s nothing really happening there on 7-18-19. Wouldn’t be surprised, however, to see a C8 on display there that weekend.
hmm... I like it.

None of my guesses have been close, lol but I find it interesting that Detroit declared bankruptcy on July 18 I think of 2013 then 6 years to the date the big reveal. I would find it cool for it to be in Detroit. No matter where they do it hopefully it's spectacular.Maybe multiple reveal locations?
