Finally someone mwntions that weight has no effect on top speed, just how long it takes to get there. May I add?
Top speed right now is all guesses. Gearing, drag, tire rolling resistance, how well engine carries torque and hp to redline, how well temps are controlled under full throttle for extended times keeping engine its its happy spot for output, etc all effect top speed so its nothing but guesswork until several examples are maxed out to see where it stands.
To jump on to the list of guessers using what we know at this point?
Z51. 185mph A little more power than base but worse drag due to down force.
Base 187 Less drag
We'll see

Benchmarking the Mclaren 570s, and 650s! ;)
Respectively -
.33 CdA ~560hp/440tq - 204 mph
.36 CdA ~640/500tq - 207mph
C8 Z51
.36 CdA 495hp/470tq - 200 mph!?
And
The C6 ZO6 219mph gear did 198mph
The A8 214 and they have an equal max torque
470x219/214=~481
Little things add up and they may have gone with a lower gear! Unlikely they are worrying about more top speed than the 'Small Block' SC achieved in a trans!
