Now that some early order folks are putting up nonrefundable down payments, has anyone officially arranged for Courtesy Delivery and the order accepted by GM?

Yes I have 950.00 delivered to Pemproke Pines Dealer in Florida. I was told the courtesy delivery for the C8 is higher. Better than 1500.00 from Macmulkin to my home.

Yes to Florida from MacMulkin in N.H. 950.00 pretty steep.

Wow, that seems high! My 2016 C7 (order placed thru MacMulkin) courtesy delivery to Auto Nation in South FL cost $500. You might want to shop another local dealer.

Sounds like you are talking about different things.
Courtesy Delivery is a GM Program. They deliver the C8 directly from Bowling Green to a “Chevy Dealer who agrees to the program” at the same delivery charge as if it went to the selling dealer, Kerbeck etc. Delivery from a selling Dealer where GM delivered the C8 will cost $1500 or more depending on the distance, covered transport or open etc.
I’m actually getting mine for <$350. It’s up to the dealer what they will charge. The service department gets paid for the prep. Also separately for my high wing etc, directly from GM.

You should probably call Macmulkin and arrange a different Courtesy Delivery Dealer. Macmulkin contacted me last week and arranged for Grieco Chevrolet in Delray Beach to take delivery for only $500. The woman who contacted me is Vanessa Ianelli. Macmulkin went out of their way and arranged for this without me even having to ask.
I also spoke to Barry Fox at Grieco to confirm that everything was good, and he did confirm it. Vanessa even sent me a printout of everything that Grieco is responsible for upon delivery.
I think it is worth an extra 30 - 40 mile drive for you to save $450.

Anybody know if Kerbeck arranges Courtesy delivery?
Jerry who is doing your delivery for 350 that dealer is good. I think it would be good if people updated this thread with the deals they get so we can find some good places to deliver. I don’t mind a little road trip to a cool place

Depends where you live. Be happy to supply the name of the Financial Manger who is the person to contact at a small Chevy Dealer in North East SC ~30 miles from I95. Just send a PM.
Just a note, contacting a Chevy Dealer salesman or sales manager may not be the thing to do! Just Sayn'
Currently I am just over deposit 110 now at MacMulkin, but since my order is a 1LT, Z51, FE4 nothing can be done till at least December except preliminary stuff. I did contact a semi local Chevy dealer (Cleveland, Ohio area) just to see what they would say. Boy, did I get the run around and BS for sure, classic car salesperson crap. Why wouldn't I order from them, why would I go out of state? They could "guarantee" my C8 before Christmas and there were no constraints at all on 1LTs with Z51, FE4. Where was I getting my information from? They had "inside information" from local employees that used to work at GM Lordstown and were transferred to Bowling Green that C8s were already being built for sale to the public and the line was already up and running (this was last month !!). They could enter and lock in an order right then, just MSRP + $598 doc fees that "everybody in the state has to pay, it's the law"! Oh, and a $5000 non-refundable deposit. After listening to all the misinformation, lies and BS I finally got a number for courtesy delivery: $750 plus some other BS charges resulting in a total of $950. Needless to say they will not be getting any of my business....ever.
Vanessa at MacMulkin is supposed to be looking for a dealership near me to do courtesy delivery, but I think because of my order constraints they (MacMulkin) are putting me on the back burner and I guess I understand that. However, I prefer to have my ducks in a row early on.
So, if anyone near the Cleveland, Ohio area has done a Corvette courtesy delivery and had a good experience, please let me know the name of the dealer. Not sure why this has to be so overly complicated and shrouded in secrecy and misinformation..

Had a similar experience when I bought my 2008 C6 from Kerbeck and never found one even after traveling 75 miles to Myrtle Beach where they said yes at first BUT when I got there is was the BS you encountered! So I drove the car home ~600 miles from Atlantic City I used a different approach for my 2017 Grand Sport.
Understood that a salesman or sales manager is NOT who you should talk with, I "let my fingers do the walking" for my 2017 Grand Sport. Tried for the Service Manager (who makes money from GM for the prep and possibly future service) or Finance Person, the one who sets up financing, tries to sell you tire/wheel insurance etc (although I was not needing financing nor did he try to sell me anything, not one penny over the fee the Courtesy Delivery fee they charged!)
Recall in one case got switched to a person who asked a person in sales if they did "Curb Delivery!" Even asked a top sales guy at the local large Chevy, BMW, Mecedes dealer I know as we bought the wife's 2mBMW SUV from him. He essentially said no.
I found a dealer who would on my 1st phone contact to the Financial Manager at a small Chevy Dealer in a small town ~30 miles from my home. Turns out they do it all the time for some of the managers and salesman in the very large, ~3000 employees, company in that town.
Jerry, thanks for the advice, if/when I contact other dealerships I will start with service and finance. Funny though, the dealer I contacted passed me off to 3 different people who had no clue what courtesy delivery was. The fourth and final guy I eventually talked to, the one making up the stories and lies, turned out to be the General Manager!
^^^
Yep, he had "practice" with all the BS! Probably how he got to be General Manager!
It will depend on the dealership but the service manager at this small dealership I found was happy to get paid by GM for the prep and told he got a separate payment from GM for installing my Stage 2 Aero side skirts and splitter. That required their C7 tech to drill 13 holes per side. Did a great job and let me in the service bay to take pictures.
Funny had never been there so visited well before the car arrived to check out their service. I was a bit embarrassed to tell the service manager I did NOT want the car washed as I was going to wash it with Dawn, claybar and apply Zaino when I got it home. He smiled and said his wife got her C7 the year before and said the same thing! She detailed it herself!
