Before the strike it was supposed to become available the 4th quarter of this year. I don't know if that has changed due to the strike though. It's not listed in the "Price and Build" on the Chevrolet site.
It was originally listed as "late availability."

My opinion, those kits are way overpriced. Nearly $4K for Carbon Flash painted splitter and side skirts? Or nearly $5K for the same parts in visible Carbon Fiber (5VM)?
I would order the car without either kit, and then either see what the aftermarket has to offer, or ask the Parts Counter at your dealership to sell you the 5W8 or 5VM kit at a substantial discount after you pick up the car. Tell them you just dropped $60K, $70K or $80K on a new Corvette and you want a discount on the parts. I wouldn’t be surprised if you can get 40% off those parts.

Is that something that's usually done? Like with prior years?

Ain't gonna happen. No Chevy Parts Department is giving you a discount like that. But you can always wish!

Purchased my 2014 C7 Z51 off the lot in 2014. Didn’t have the Carbon Fiber dash that I wanted. The CF dash was a $995 option when it came with the car. I walked over to the Chevy Parts Counter at the dealer and was able to get it for $600. Saved 40%! Took it home, watched a YouTube video and learned how to install it myself. Afterwards, I was able to sell off the original plain Dash for $200. Final Net Cost was $400. I actually saved 60% when you also account for selling the plain Dash.
