Default C8 Z06 rendering

Hi All,

I had some fun speculating what a C8 Z06 might look like taking some cues from the racecar, but introducing them into a more street-friendly format. Enjoy!!

To me it looks like you have the right idea on the main scoop, but I think the bottom of the extended Z06 scoop will be the new rear brake inlet. So you would need to extend the scoop a little lower and be sure there is an opening there. Check the bottom of the race car scoop to see it. (A guess on my part.)

Without seeing the back, this is probably my favorite render so far. But the design of the back of that front wheel arch would cause A LOT of rocks to be kicked up to the side of the car

probably true, especially given the fact that the rear brakes will be doing more work than they did on the FE cars

Looks great!

From a practical standpoint though my guess is that the rear of each fender won’t be open as it will kick up debris and rocks. The fenders could extend down, remain open but have screening inside the wheelwells to catch debris. Just a thought.

!Looks cool except I'm pretty sure it will get a wide body especially on the rear flanks.

Fix the front fender, flare the rear just a smidge. . . . and take my money.

Looking good. If you're taking requests, can you show front, side and rear views? Hoping to see those pronounced wide body flares. Also hoping to see round exhaust tips, perhaps mounted a tad higher and more inboard (though not sure if this is practical, physically, given the existing design), and a fairly aggressive rear diffuser. For the rear spoiler, how about an rear-fascia integrated duckbill as the base spoiler? Could always add a wing optionally. Love the wheels. How about showing silver. The blue exterior is really nice. Would also like to see Torch Red and Blade Silver.

More broadly, I think you illustrators are the most interesting and enjoyable posters on this forum. Nothing better than seeing plausible renderings of highly anticipated future models. Unfortunately only a very small percentage of us (me most definitely NOT included!) have the ability to produce these sorts of concepts.

I'm working on a rear-perspective view right now

Awesome. You do great work, and I'm sure all here will be interested to see how your take on the Z06 evolves. As exemplified by my request for silver wheels and a integrated rear spoiler, I'm particularly hopeful that Chevrolet will offer a variant of the wide-body, FPC V8 C8 with somewhat restrained styling. Frankly, the C8.R with no wing and road-going rear diffuser would be amazing. The work you're doing could capture that. Look forward to seeing everything you post!
