PLEASE, learn to read. GM has, at least twice confirmed there IS electronic augmentation. Stop spreading ignorance. The search function is your friend.

yeah that thread is full of bickering back and forth. Kinda like every thread. I’ve dug all through the forum and didn’t find any definitive information saying that fake engine noise is played through the speakers. I did find where GM states that 100% of the sound is generated by the engine.
