QC could be 30/60 days if what I read on this forum is correct.

Would those of you who have order status please post the day you ordered and the day you received notice of it moving? This would give those of us who are still at 1100 some idea how long it will take for our cars to start moving.
Thanks.

faninc,

Your dealer placed your original order to Chevrolet on 12/19/19 and you received the TWP on 1/3/20?

Called Chevy just before Christmas and was told TPW 02/17/2020, subject to move +/-.

The original order date is irrelevant, the dealer allocated order date is what matters and what I was referring to. For the record I was the first order in the system at 1100 sold retail order back in July. Was in the dealer folder in 2018.
At midsize dealer.

Thanks for the reply. My original order date was 7/30/19 but I don't know what the dealer allocated order date means. Thanks for the clarification.

Called Concierge yesterday and found out my TPW Is 3/2. They said 8-12 weeks for delivery, but I’m pretty sure they are being overly conservative. I’m thinking mid April for delivery, but I’m not counting on it.

8-12 weeks after production? Sounds crazy.

Hi,

Your order at the dealer at 1100 status means nothing to Chevy and the production plant no matter when placed.
Until your dealer matches your order to one of their allocations provided by Chevy for the New C8 corvette and submits it, nothing will move to the next level. Ask your dealer when your order will be matched with one of their actual allocations? Once they do that your order will go from 1100 to 2000 which is acceptance. Then your order will move to 3000 and be issued a TPW, which denotes what week your car will be built. Add 4-5 weeks for delivery to your dealer. Hope that helps!

Very Welcome! Ask your dealer what order you were in their Workbench order system.

Then ask given their actual allotments for new C8 when will your order be submitted and matched to one of their allocations.

Let us know how it goes! Good luck
