Default Spoiler question

I installed an aftermarket Spoiler on my C7 it was low profile and really liked the looks. I do not like the c8 spoilers, any chance that same spoiler will fit my new c8 ? Thanks

The rear dimensions of the C8 are completely different than your C7. So unless the spoiler can stretch and bend, then no, lol.

There will be plenty of aftermarket spoilers for the C8 in the coming years bro, you'll be able to find something you like down the road, I'm sure.

But you can bet the aftermarket will be all over this (potential) option...

I suspect the OEM spoilers will be more effective at improving the aerodynamics of the cars than most aftermarket spoilers that are thrown on because they look better. Not many niche aftermarket suppliers have the ability to test their products to see if they make the aero better or worse.

Send me the dimensions and I'll run them thru my wind tunnel sim program...it's nearly as good as the one I used at the F plane company and the advanced differential calculus thermodynamic math calculations make it better in many ways then a physical wind tunnel.

I agree that given a little time, the aftermarket will step up and offer some options for the C8.

Very true. But I suspect very few C8s will ever see situations where the added downforce of the factory spoiler really matters.
