I agree completely. Even though some people felt that wouldn't be a problem you KNOW it would happen! I also have my doubts as to how often you'd have to clean that window because you WOULD want it to be spotless!

Cleaning both back windows of the coupe would be an issue for me. That was another factor in my decision to go with the convertible.

That settles it then. The HTC will be faster than the coupe. Less weight .............

I don't want this rubbing against my paint.

Or, this
I own both. Most Texans wear plate buckles. Even the ladies.

That's pretty much what I was thinking when I started this thread. Thanks for clarifying.

Default So far ........

Using the visualizer, decided to not pay for factory painted roof or dorsal fins .... I will have them body wrapped after the fact. Factory option is too damn expensive imho.

I bet the aftermarket will have something for the convertible's engine cover before long. The OEM plastic engine cover is a big blank canvas just waiting to be modded.

Imho, someone at GM is snorting Dollar General grade talc with the option prices. The cf interior option is a classic example. The aftermarket will provide better choices.

Probably cheaper for GM to buy them all painted the same color than to buy, stock, and track two separate colors. So I suspect the HTC will have red valve covers, which I might see once a year. If I can be bothered to remove the cover and wipe down the engine compartment even that often.

+1
Find an engine photo you like, have it printed on vinyl the same size as the engine cover, and you can show off whatever engine you like. V12 C8? No problem. Formula 1 Turbo V6? Have a ball. NASA plasma rocket engine? ROAR!

If they can save a nickel by making them black or even bare metal, you can bet they will.
