The initial September constraints before the strike have a lot to do with those 400 -500 first builds.
I don’t believe this small build sample is reflective of how it’s going to be.
1lt
blade silver
elkhart blue
rapid blue ...all were on constraint before the strike...
And are all very popular.
That is correct and our early orders reflect those constraints as they were placed in the system when there were constraints and we cannot change. I believe many prior to the strike had tpw’s in the first three weeks in dec. which are now the first three weeks of February so yes, early cars being produced are being so with the early constraints even though we do not have now.
Only 35 people upgraded to the GT2 seats since the 3LT comes with them standard.
Not commenting on the numbers so much but if you've played with all three of the seats you will quickly find that the GT2 is by a huge margin the best of the three. The competition seats are too narrow and the base seats are subpar.
that's not true at all. And if you have read anything about Corvette history you would know that's not true. Seems to be the biggest reason is it's a supplemental wheel. A $3000 option. Hard to justify a color of a wheel for $3000. don't be a troll.

I agree. But for me, 160 pounds I fit really great in those competition seats.
i have very similar seats in my RC-F. And for skinny guys, it’s the only way to go.
my 16 C7 doesn’t have it, my 2019 ZL1 has it. I don’t see any real difference.
Texas Ranger and I live outside of Austin, TX. The roads here are 95% smooth. No expansion joints and very few pot holes. The effect of MagRide is mostly felt in Tour and on rough roads. I have MagRide on my C7 and 2016 Cadillac ATS-V. While I do feel a smoother ride in Tour on the highway, it isn't dramatic. I can perfectly understand why some don't order MagRide around here. I ordered it on my C8.
Also, since no convertibles are going to be built until April, how can any of the first 500(ish) look like what you posted?
I believe these are the numbers Mike Davenport compiled from the system. Other people have been reposting them. I think Mike deserves some credit for taking the time to get all this info even If it is swayed by early constraints. There are some interesting take rates on options.

The third one I bought yesterday may have It..I won’t know until it shows up.
Custom Sport Magnesium Wheel Option on the C5 At $3,000.00 WAS NOT a popular at the time. Later they got popular due to lack of lack of numbers. I ordered them on my C5. They looked great replacing the O.E.M. Wagon Wheels.
