Default First 500

Of the first 500(ish) cars built, 146 will roll upon the standard five-spoke silver wheels, and 197 chose black carbon-flash painted alloys. A) Shame on you for choosing black wheels, and B) where the hell are the pewter wheels? It is a travesty that not one of the first 500 looks like this.

Fair, the updated configurator won't even let you put them on an image of the car. Don't they know men are visual? It is strange to me that the wheel is a 'second set' option. On the C5, the magnesium wheel was crazy popular and highly sought after option.

OP, what are you basing your statistics on?

Also, since no convertibles are going to be built until April, how can any of the first 500(ish) look like what you posted?

No such thing as "Free" wheels. They are "Included" wheels that are included with a 60K car. Free, I don't think so...

53 gt1 seats, and only 1 1lt. I'm surprised how many people, went 2lt with the gt1 seats.

Where are these numbers being released at? Surprised they are releasing these stats one week in.

I can't believe anyone would order Z51 and not order Mag ride.

If those stats are correct a lot of people bought 2LT and upgraded to the GT2 seats.

If these stats are true its as I predicted the front lift would be very popular, especially with Z51 buyers. Chevy did a really good job on the front lift.

I thought red would be the dominant color. Glad to see majority with Z51 and magride and lots of 2LT. That’s exactly what I may be looking for in a used C8 in the next 18-24 months

I’m glad I’m going Rapid Blue, looks to be a rare color if the ratio continues to shake out like this.

I’ve never thought of production like this, but the number of Corvettes listed here is about as many Audi R8s that were produced in 2015. The C8 is the democratization of the supercar.

Only 35 people upgraded to the GT2 seats since the 3LT comes with them standard.

So with 298 3LTs and 145 2LTs one could say they ARE building those cars first..My dealer said that wasn't the case,so maybe he was just blowing smoke..

Quite simple, no demand for the pewter wheel.

The initial September constraints before the strike have a lot to do with those 400 -500 first builds.
I don’t believe this small build sample is reflective of how it’s going to be.

1lt
blade silver
elkhart blue
rapid blue ...all were on constraint before the strike...
And are all very popular.
