also in NC you can renew your drivers license online. Easy 5 minute process, enter CC info, and usually Dl appears in your mailbox in about a week.

While the virus is serious it's not invulnerable. It's apparently pretty delicate. Just let the vehicle sit out in the sun a few hours and the virus will be history. Life in general doesn't like UV light. If you want to find out for yourself just lay out in the sun for a couple of hours.

Just got my C8 and the glove box will not open either. Will be taking it to the dealer next week probably.

I figure I can social distance myself from the Service Writer but the car won't be able to do that with the car jockeys that move it around and the mechanics that work on it. you're not catching this bug off surfaces Bill. Look into it. Only the carcass of the virus is being found on surfaces. The RNA. Big hubbub about nothing we are scrubbing and disinfecting ourselves to death. Natural reaction. But not necessary for this particular virus. It is when it is expelled and makes it into you directly through the air in the droplets that are causing the spread. Open the windows and in no time you're good to go.

Not saying you can't catch God knows what else lmao.

OP. That sucks. Best of luck with these maniacs muscling the box open to access the motor if it doesn't come back on. Make sure you inspect that glove box door and hardware frame etc when you get it back.
