According to Corvette concierge as of 3/18 the "decision was made to suspend MY20" any unit at 3000 or above will be produced for 2020..any others will have to be reordered as 2021. HOWEVER there is not pricing as of yet also its not available to spec out in GM Autobook as of this moment..

I guess that is good, mine was at 3000 and a TPW of this week so I may not see my car until August and then I will have to decide if I want a 2021.

August would see the LAST of the Event 3000 cars built, at least if September is the start of 2021 production. If you are far enough forward in queue to already have had a TPW of this week, you should be getting your car WAY before August. I would think early June at the latest.

We are at 3000 too, and really want a MY 2020.

No TPW was given, I plan to email concierge once production starts up again.

With that being said who has a (actually who does't) how many MY20 will be built? My TPW is 6/8 so pretty sure mine will be built, delivery is yet again a different thing.

I got the same email over a month ago. This is not new news. More importantly this was the situation prior to the plant closing. I can't imagine that this is still accurate at all.

Yesterday I was told by dealer that my 3000 will be built as 2021. Who really knows? I don't care if they build as a 2022 just as long as I don't need snow tires at time of delivery.

Bad news for some -- good news for me!

I really want the new silver and the wireless Apple Car play. And some who wanted base suspension can now get Magnaride.

Default So confused....(!)

I was at 3400 (Broadcast) with a 3/16 TPW (but no issued VIN) at the time the plant shutdown started.

As of today..... no updated Event Code, No declared TPW, and no VIN. No new info from my dealership (Hendrick of Hoover, AL). I feel as though I'm in the Twillight Zone...... especially some of you'all are getting such data for June/July production dates..... I can only guess I'm sitting at some station on the production line floor....covered with dust..... and no workforce.....

Anyone have a "best guess" in where I might be, in this queue???

Looking at it a different way, the late Production Cars will arrive near the end of 2020, meaning the new Owners will get hit with a one year depreciation before they even get to drive their Cars. No end of Year close out deals for you... Oh well...

If my 2020 HTC Order, which magically went to 3000 Status the day the Plant closed turns into a 2021 Order, I would add the non Z51 Mag Ride Option. I'm starting to hope that happens just to get that Option.

Time will tell...

Got an update from Concierge, hopefully it’s of value to some on here as they are many rumors circulating. I’m all for keeping BG closed until it’s safe for everyone to return.

”This is what we know at this time. GM has not made any announcements regarding the re-opening of the production plant in Bowling Green. Production at Bowling Green will start up again once GM determines it is safe to do so, based on Government guidance given the COVID-19 outbreak. We are still unsure how production will be impacted with this closure. Once GM announces an official production plan for the Corvette, we will be sure to keep customers up-to-date with the most accurate information.

While production is down we are unable to provide any accurate dates/timing on production. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time.”

The Toyota assembly plant in KY is opening May 4th. How is it they can open 2 weeks before BG? Are they a non-union plant?

I'm at 3400 Broadcast ,with a VIN number and the TPW was 3/28. I was told by the conciege last week that ALL 3400 Broadcast cars will be 2020, espcially with VIN numbers, but no guarentee on anything without VIN number.

I am skeptical all the 3000 status cars will get built by the end of August. They would need to get to approx. VIN 13,300, looking at the Kerbeck data. Assuming a May 18th start, and no two week holiday, they would have to build approximately 140 cars per day. They barely hit 150 cars a day before with two shifts. With possible parts shortages, workers out with COVID and who knows a two-week holiday (UAW contract?), this sounds ambitious. On the possible positive side if you ordered a coupe, will the verts be a MY 2021 item.

this is true and what I've been saying however, you'd get hit with that depreciation regardless sooner or later but because our 2020's will have lower mileage they still can command a bit more than earlier 2020's with higher mileage and equal mileage early builds to sell this time next year will have the same value.

Finish all 3000 coupes through August as 2020MY, then a straight run of HTC’s (they do it with coupes) that were former 2020’s price protected as 2021’s in Sept/Oct., then pick up with “normal” mixed 2021 coupe/HTC orders presently as deposits?
