Just curious if anyone knows if the dealers have received their preliminary allocation for 2021 C8.
Yes, finally in position in my life and decided on getting my dream car... first corvette. Its been a long wait since 1991. I also hear from a dealer its possible that I might have to wait for 2022 C8 to get one. Is this true? Didn't realized how much GM is backlogged. Figured the production has started and lots of 2020 cars will be built for delivery so I figured my chance of getting 2021 would be good.
Dont mind waiting, however, waiting over a year will def challenge my patience. Lol. We shall see.
Lastly, for those who have ordered or received their C8, any recommendation of best shot of getting 2021 C8. Thank you in advance for your help. Note: I am located in Central New Jersey.
Consider MacMulkin, number 2 behind Kerbeck. You will almost certainly be way up the line there than Kerbeck. I am in PA right over the river from Trenton. I went with MacMulkin last fall and am at 3000 status. When I placed my deposit, Kerbeck's 2020 list was closed.
Whether you choose Kerbeck, MacMulkin, or Criswell, make your decision soon, like this week. There is no reason to wait.
Also no reason to fart around talking to the dealer down the street that sells 5 vettes a year and has absolutely no idea what's going, a *****-nilly waitlist, and possible surprise ADM pricing.

I agree. I've been on Kerbeck's 2021 list since last September.
Though Criswell is right behind McMulkin in terms of Corvette sales, the gap is VERY large. I learned that the hard way. Also, MacMulkin will price protect you immediately at 1100 status, and not wait until they have an allocation for your order. IMO these are big differentiators.
Any idea what number you are on Kerbeck’s 2021 list of customers?
I would imagine you must be one of the first.
I was on Kerbeck 21 list. I believe I was around 42. They called me in March just before the virus shutdown and said I could get on the 2020 list.
2 days before that my local chevy dealer said he had an allocation for a 2020. So I took it. I wish I had stayed with Kerbeck. I would put money on it I would have got a 2020. Things happen.

Do you remember when you put your 2021 deposit in with Kerbeck?
I’m assuming Kerbeck refunded your deposit?
Were you unable to get to order status 3000 with your local dealer?

While anything is possible, I doubt you would have to wait until 2022 to get a C8 if you act now. I went with Rick Conti who is just down the road and requested a 2021 MY back in early February with no deposit. I am #5 on the list according to his web site.
Thank you. Do you have a sales person there you recommend?
most of us with MM work with one of two dedicated ladies who are Corvette specialist...Christina and Vanessa. They are nothing less than spectacular. I work with Christina and have been blown away by her responsiveness, work ethic, and overall attitude. You will never be left in the dark (unless GM keeps them in the dark)
BTW, I have worked with Kerbeck and Criswell too. No comparison.
while the top dealerships all have great people but this is off the charts.
