The picture was taken in questionable lighting circumstance (middle of the day under a shady tree), the car is framed awkwardly (front and center), and there is no artistic style with respect to the subject matter, and the background interferes with subject mater in a distracting way. So, it should have been taken at between F/1.4 and F/2 to blur the background, possibly a polarizer to bring out detail on the car's paint, from a tripod, and place the subject a bit off to the left or right for a more interesting composition.

My new special ordered plates arrived after my C8 was sold and was awaiting shipment to it's new owner. Just took a picture with them on the car. Plates were transferred to my 2011 GS Convertible I bought awaiting the long wait for my 2021 C8 HTC in which these plates will find their rightful home.

Someone paid extra to put an uncreative message on their plates ? There’s a black z06 around here with BLK Z06 on the plates - never would’ve guessed by looking at it. And personalized plates are quite expensive ($150 yr + normal registration fees) down here

USA-1 is and has been an iconic Chevrolet slogan for over 50 years. I was glad to incorporate that with the new 8th gen Corvette!

Here in Fredericksburg, there is an F150 with a plate that says: F150 FX4. Very creative indeed.

So awesome. The more i see the C8 rear end, the more i think of how much better it is to the C7. So aggressive and more "race car" like.

I finally saw a C8 in person for the first time on Thursday and thought just the opposite. The rear end was by far the weakest aspect of the car. I loved the design of the front, but I just don't think the rear has an attractive design at all. To each their own I guess.
Do your states not let you pickup the plates without a car? In CA you can order one, pick it up, and hang on to it without having to register it to a vehicle right away. As long as you pay the yearly fee your good.

In comparison to the C7, i think the C8 rear looks better minus the square exhaust tips.
The C7 is still a "rounded" car, and the rear is very angular. Look at the exhaust tip box, the tail lights etc. It looks very odd. I never liked the rear before getting my C7Z. ANd 4 years later i still don't like the C7Z rear. C8 much better.
At least the C8, it is angular but all the pieces fit for the actual look. I just think they should have went with oval or even round tips, like the aftermarket exhausts people are putting. Those look a ton better. Like the hennessey C8.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
