So, I am curious now "Is the Resell Party Over"? I've been watching all the 2020 Corvettes for sale on one of the popular internet sites. I am going to check these daily for a while, with 4 of the best deals that I will watch until they disappear (either sold or removed from the site).
Stats:
There are 150 2020s for sale right now. The most expensive is $130,000 for a 1LT; least expensive is $85,000 for a 1lt, but there are some 2lts mixed in the 150.
There are 123 of these cars that have been for sale on the site for over 1 month
26 of the 150 have had price drops in the last 24 hours. This site will publish a price drop for only a short time then that flag disappears.

the 4 best deals and all 4 are a month old
$85,000 - 1LT. Silver/Black; Z51; no other options; 700 mi; private seller (didn't even post any pics)
$87,000 - 1LT; Red/Black; Trident wheels only option; 100 mi; private seller
$89,000 - 1LT; Shadow Gr/Black; Trident wheels only option; 11 miles; private seller
$92,000 with a $3000 price drop; 1LT; Silver/Black; no published options (so a base priced coupe); 337 miles; dealer car

If someone is willing to shell out $100 over MSRP, more power to them, but no freaking way I would ever pay that much. Heck, I hate paying MSRP for a vehicle.

I could be as rich as Bill Gates and still wouldn't do it.

So a quick check from today:
There are now 163 C8s with a price range of $139,000 to $85,000.
There are now 132 cars that have been listed for a month or more.
The same 4 lowest priced 1LT cars are still for sale. And another one has been added at $87,500; 1LT silver/black; with no written description except for 1LT and no apparent options.
There have been 29 price drops just within the last 24 hours.

It gets hard to tell how many of these, if any, have sold, but the overall list is getting longer with new adds. The four (now five) that interest me the most BC they should be the most affordable (if someone cannot wait) are the lowest priced 1LT no or little optioned ones.

I, like many, thought - If only I bought two - one for me and one to sell - What I am seeing right now, I am probably over that thought as carrying $70K something to $90K something (after all the associated purchasing costs - title, licensing, sales taxes, etc.) with anticipation of making a quick $10K or more is not what I am seeing right now. There might have been a very small window last spring...maybe, but I wasn't watching then.
