I too had the "won't open" issue using the front switch, the inside switch and the key fob. I waited an hour and tried to get it to release. Worked just fine. A week later, I had the same issue and decided to take the car to the dealer. Of course, it worked just fine at the dealership. The technician ran a scan for codes but found none. I will have to monitor the operation next Spring due to the local weather conditions.

Same frunk issue with 2021
I ran into the same issue with my 2021 LT2 Z51 VIN 328 last week. Frunk won’t open with FOB or internal button. Front lights respond to FOB, but the latch won’t release. By the way, the manual cable near the brake pedal was a pain to pull for this big boy. I’m taking it in for service this week and will share your findings. Thanks for posting.
