What happened when the class action lawsuit was happening with the C7 Z06? Did people give up on it? No people still kept it, others still wanted to own one.

NO car is going to be problem free. Some people buy lemons, some people buy cars that are flawless.

I happen to own the most reliable year (according to stats) of the C7Z years. While others with the same car was having electronic gremlins, A8 shuddering, overheating, paint issues etc. My car was just smiling away waiting for it to be used whenever, with zero issues.

For every problem mentioned on an online forum, there's like 10,000 others with no issues. People only post or make threads when they have an issue. Especially if they can't find a thread with the similar issue. Which says something. Think about it. If they can't find a thread with a similar issue, it means people aren't having said issue. So they have to make their own thread. How many problem threads do you read about the same issue? Twice a month? That's 2 people a month vs how many people who have bought and driving the car.

Or was this an attempt to suggest your C7GS is better than a C8? Because it isn't lol.

C8 is already shaping out to be the greatest generation corvette. And GM only gave us a bite size sample with the stingray. Wait for the others to arrive lol

If this is an attempt to move up 30 places on the MacMulkin 2021 list, I’ll at least award you style points.

Another subject here that brings out the essence of human nature. Actually would be great for young people to study these posts so they will know exactly what they will be up against as adults. A substantial education - for free no less.

No value in posting the significant problems with my '77 and '16 Z06. No problems with my '07 Z06.

Because your C8 has had ZERO problems, that doesn't mean that some C8 owners have some very real, legitimate problems with theirs. BTW, I am glad that your C8 hasn't had some of the problems that others have experienced with theirs

I'm looking for the OP to start an intelligent conversation. There is absolutely no evidence he is capable of that in this thread. Please go back to not posting much.

How can you be disappointed with something you have no connection with?

Despite what anyone or everyone else may say... waiting a while cannot hurt any aspect of getting a new Vette, any series they've ever come out with. If you don't just HAVE to be an early-adopter you are much less apt to become an unpaid GM beta-tester.

Almost 3 months and 3,000 miles on my c8. No problems...love it...just sad that in a week or two it will go into storage for the Wisconsin winter.

Yep, you can wait BUT I had an early 2014 C7, built September 2013. Was back for service once, when GM sent a notice in October to have the dif fluid level checked. I was in the service bay when the Tech, who had just come back from C7 training checked. It was fine! (BTW do all my own oil changes etc.

Yep with the current demand for the C8, order now you'll be lucky to get one this time next year! That's assuming there is not another industry shut down or slowdown, which looks more likely now! Yep can wait for a 2022, MAYBE demand will slow, assuming you still have a job!

Meantime I'll have had a few years driving mine! Maybe if the Grand Sport is out folks can buy mine when my C8 GS arrives!

Has the valve spring issue been "completely" resolved. I'm very concerned with the unpredictable nature of this problem ? Thank you

Not valid whatsoever. ^^^^

Any reason to wait on ordering a new C8 IS justified. Especially a proven Corvette fan's. It's the OP's decision, no else's.

. I get this is a troll post, but the stupidity here is astounding. Though I do appreciate the laugh, and glad to know you no longer are associated with Corvette. Porsche always needs another asshat. Enjoy and best wishes.

You can have mine. I had to add air in the LF tire last week. Decided the car was a pile of **** and not for me.

Hmm, an elitist AH! Yep I shop at Walmart even having 3 engineering degrees and at 78 a fun part time Internet business and sold enough of my made in US patented products to China last year to pay for my C8! Rather talk with Blue-Collar folks at Car Shows when I bring my ProStreet Rod I built 20 years ago than snobs!
