Default Good Timing

Got the call from MacMulkin yesterday that my 3LT, mag ride, Z51, front lift HTC is at the dealership. Ordered more than a year ago, but timing good because yesterday was my birthday. Now I have to get it trucked to New Mexico!

Out of curiosity, why didn't you get a courtesy delivery in NM?

Sideline - you live in a beautiful place! I lived in Albuquerque for 15 years. Used to hit SF twice a month. Pasqual's for breakfast....too many places to name for dinner. Indian Market was an every year thing, so was Zozobra (the real Zozobra of the old days, like in the 80s). And regularly did the SF Opera.

Your car should REALLY stand out on the plaza. Do some pics (PLEASE) with your car there when you get it! What color, BTW?

It was supposed to be a museum delivery, but that program was on constraint because of capacity when the order went through. MacMulkin was unable to contact the Santa Fe dealership where I have my car serviced before the order had to be finalized (in March). At the time New Mexico had closed car dealerships (non-essential business) because of Covid-19 and some dealerships did not answer their phone very well - hence it’s in Nashua. Oh well, if this is the worst thing that happens to me, I count myself lucky.

Zeus bronze with black wheels. Have not seen a C8 "in the flesh" yet, and a little nervous about the color choice. (My C7 is green, which still gets compliments in this part of the country.)

I had mine shipped for a similar reason. Covid screwed up travel.

I was planning on a Museum delivery (my third) but all the delays put my delivery in mid winter and I wasn't looking forward to an 800+ mile ride home with the possibility of ice on the road so I cancelled the Museum and will have it delivered here locally at the selling dealer.

Enjoy the new ride. COVID can't last forever.

Wife and I did a trip to NM a couple of years ago. Fantastic state to road trip in.

I loved these signs we saw on our road trip:

I photographed one of those at MacMulkin today. Maybe it's your car! This is the first Zeus Bronze C8 I've seen.

I have seen Zeus bronze and I can say without hesitation the internet does not do this color justice. It looks really good.
