Oh, I drive year round here on Cape Cod as long as the roads are clear and dry. This 65 was my daily driver back in the 70's. Still going strong.

Same. My vette gets driven all year. As long as the roads are plowed and dry. Wednesday night they're saying 10-12 inches of snow. I plan on taking the car out this weekend if the roads are dry. Even with my summer tires on lol.
Gotta make sure I have all the "fun" with this car before I trade it for the next guy to worry about lol
Each to their own...... I respect everyone's opinion we're all different. Way back in 1999 I got my first new Corvette. That baby never saw the rain!!! I laid under it in the winter cleaning underneath it!!!
Had a backup car for the snow. I though gee I'm set. A few years into the C5 I thought why but could never bring myself to drive it is salt and snow.
Then I traded it....... and really did not get anymore for it. So the next 4 were driven whenever I wanted to drive them. No one ever asked me at trade was the car driven is the snow or was it ever tracked?
I will say this....... driving in cold weather with a 650 HP Z is different and a lot of fun.

Glad the OP enjoys his car even on the farm!!!
Yep, I've never understood why these cars are "saved" and rarely used for little or no gain. Such owners are losing out on enjoying and actually using it as a real car. I suppose some are satisfied with them as mostly garage art.
Well, here's a partial screen shot from our local TV news for our likely pending 14" to 20" of snow starting tomorrow.
With that said, after having given our C8 a proper cleaning the other day after running ALL our errands, get out of the house drives, country road twisty rides, etc, etc we basically took the C8 for every possible reason the last few months to enjoy it before the inevitable .....
Sad day today as I hooked up the battery maintainer and covered the car for awhile. Hopefully, the roads will be clear, dry and free from salt etc in short order.

Whether we need it or not it's a comin' today. :-( I'm glad to have gotten the Vette out for a nice drive yesterday because after the mess and the sand and salt, it'll be awhile before we get another chance.
It's not the actual snow that sucks so much, it's the salt, sand and potholes that follow... Not much you can do if you still live up North because we're going to close Florida down to new residents if I have anything to say about it... I think we have at least half of all corvettes here already anyway...

I bought a new Covercraft Noah cover and got a stencil for both directions and painted it on the cover. For the front and back, I bought 2 embroidered emblems and hand sewed them on the cover.
