I'd definitely wait for an 2021 allocation.

Save your money and order a 2021. It will be worth the wait once received.

Hmm they will Roll On The Floor Laughing!

Yep some of us live where you can drive a Vette all year round! The C8 is in high demand and lots of folks with money who want one now!

ROBert you are asking for an opinion. I would never pay over msrp for a new car much less a preowned one.

fabulous ownership exoerience yet I would never pay over msrp even for a new c8 much less a preowned one.

good luck deciding what you want to do. Its your money.

I have a hard enough time justifying paying msrp, let alone $10,000 more. The C8 will be discounted once supply catches up with demand. Most likely later in the 2022 model year or 2023. So then there is the time / value and what it's worth to you. Are you actually going to drive it and enjoy it enough to justify the money you are throwing out the window or will it be a garage queen and just be a trophy for your success? As others have mentioned in the posts before mine, only you can answer these questions and justify based on your financial situation and burning desire to have the car now vs waiting until later.

At 2000 miles the valve springs have either been replaced or are ok. Most failed with less then 500 miles and some right on the dealers lot. It's your call, is a year of extra ownership worth 10k it is to many. Don't count on a June delivery as many have also mentioned, dealer has no control that far out!!!

Corvettes depreciate too quickly to consider purchasing anything over MSRP.
I'm prepared to wait because the C7 GS is a great car.....

Do you have the disposable money and do you want the 2020? 2,000 miles is nothing. Have them replace the springs before you take delivery.

Or do you want to wait for the 2021?

It's up to you - your decision only.

Robert, taking the miles out of the equation, this is one helluva car for the price. Pictures seriously don't do it justice. When you see it in person, it really does look THAT good. I wouldn't worry about the valve spring issue since it would have been under warranty. 2021 delivery in 6/21? Now THAT is the funniest thing to hear. No way in hell that would happen for you. At this point, I bet you are looking at a 2022 delivery. Having said all of that, only you can ultimately decide if you want to be driving a C8 NOW vs waiting for that long...

Without question, wait. Order what you want for a better price plus the little extra you get with the 2021. You also don't know how those first 2K miles were driven.

Use the waiting months to save more $ for a larger down payment. The anticipation will also give you a better appreciation for your custom car.

Since you ask... NO way as far as I'm concerned. Who knows anything about the car or its previous owner(s). You've waited this long, you can do longer. There will always be another, one way or another.

If you pay that now you will definitely regret it later. The dealer would get the last smile.

I have never wanted a new car badly enough to pay MSRP, much less to pay over it for a used car.

Placed my deposit yesterday with Criswell they guesstimate 14 mos. That's not an issue for me I am wondering at that time period could I possibly be getting a 2022, since the 21's are starting to roll out now, seems the 2021's could be sold out as far as ordering from this point going forward

A bottle of Moet in, that Russian hooker looks pretty good.... but 3 weeks later, that $3,600 charge on your corporate expense account looks pretty bad....

If you are Charlie Sheen, you shrug it off as a "business expense"...

If you're Joe Blow, you've got lots of "splan'in" to do Lut-zy...
