why not just pick it up and then call a car carrier to ship it to wherever your going down south then fly to your destination, load all the things you'll need in the vette.....

I have neve rordered a car that came in on my timeline. That's part of getting in line. Given how awesome the car is, I'd try to figure it out. I rent a warehouse for just such purposes. I also can store my summer lawn mowers, and have a place to drink away from home, get away from things. Watch a football game and wax it all winter. You can do it.
