Default Sample timelines

Hi all, I got the call on Thurs - a few months earlier than expected (!). So now trying to understand the steps and range of timelines, esp between allocation and car being built.
If anyone can post insight or dates from their experience in the past few months, that would be great!

Steps as I understand them (feel free to correct). Looking for the time ranges on these:
1100 - Dealer has entered order into system, but not associated with an allocation. Could be at this stage for months.
Allocation - once a month, the dealer gets official spots that they can use for orders
Thurs - Dealer can enter order and calls
Sat - Dealer enters order by 9pm ET
Tues - Dealer review - has until 9pm ET to make any changes and place final order
2000 - Order is accepted by GM
3000 - Accepted by production (will this be this week?)
3300 - Scheduled for production - is this when Target Production Week is set?
TPW - My understanding is this can change, but assuming it doesn't, when would I know my TPW?
And for the allocations they are doing this weekend, for example, when will they start building this round of cars?
Meaning, when will production end for the prior month's allocation and start for this month's? Could the first TPW for this month's allocation be the Monday after Dealer review? Or is there more delay?
3800 - Assuming the TPW holds, the car gets built
4200 - Car has been shipped. From some of the posts, seems like this is happening pretty quickly (?). Mine will be to Texas (Dallas area, so by truck as I understand it).
5000 - Delivered to dealer

Thanks!!!

Pretty much how I understand it. I've seen an estimate from other threads that from 2000 to ship can be anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks.

Since we are both from Dallas and our orders were both on Thursday's allocation we will both probably be on the same journey and picking up at the same time somewhere near each other. I ordered from Huffines in Plano. What about you?

Further south, closer to Austin, but that is great to hear about yours. My assumption is they will put them on the same truck, and they will just keep going down 35 after dropping yours off.
4-6 weeks from this point would be pretty good. I will keep you posted once mine gets scheduled.

Here is my time line
11/18/20 order placed
12/18/20 order tied to allocation
12/21/20 order code 2000
1/5/21 order code 3000
1/14/21 order code 3300
still 3300 1/22/21 but TPW is 2/1/21

Thanks, please do keep me posted, I will do the same. I was put on the deposit list December 30 and got allocation on Jan 21. When did you get on the list and what number did you start at? Which dealer and are they a decent size Corvette dealer? Mine is local and they are number 70 on the 2020 Corvette dealer list.

This was my recent experience ... but the shipping part can be different based on your location. Mine was built and shipped from the factory and arrived at my dealer in Duluth GA in under six days ... which was amazing!

Put initial deposit down on 15 SEP 20 to hold a place in line at Rick Hendrick in Duluth, GA
Got an order code of 3000 on 19 NOV 20
Moved to order code 3300 (with no TPW) on 16 DEC 20
Moved to order code 3400 on 08 JAN 21 with a TPW of 11 JAN 21
It built on Friday,15 JAN 21 … probably around 1 PM
Traded in my 2018 Z06 and took delivery of my 2021 Red Mist Coupe on Friday, 22 January 2021

So less than 4 1/2 months from deposit to a new 2021 in my garage!

TPWs are not available to dealers or the Concierge until your order reaches 3400. If you were doing NCM delivery the Museum can see your TPW much earlier (although it is more likely to change in the early stages). The Canadian customer service team also has access to TPWs early in the process, but only for orders going to Canada.

Good news this morning... I've already moved to 2000 status after placing order last Thursday. This is too much for a Monday morning! 😁

Mine is fairly the same as yours. Hoping for that 3400 this week.
