I would think it's high enough to slide under for oil and filter changes...... I mean you won't be able to sit up at all, unless you're a "little person", but you should still be able to do those type of tasks and get elbows moving and tools moving without issue.

If you are concerned, get the 10" ones, but I think you will see when you are jacking the car up to get those 10" cribs under the tires, that the rest of the car is pretty far up there. Kind of scary jacking that far up with a floor jack to me.......

I even changed the differential fluid on my Honda Pilot with NO jacking at all..... just slid underneath it with no lifting..... good thing I wasn't any bigger.
Not scary at all if you get 2 piece cribs and lift in 2 steps. I do it all the time and it doesn't take long to do. Cribs don't take up all the space that a lift would take up. Space in my garage is at a premium. Cribs conserves much needed space and they are super light.

Yup, jack stands just won't work on this car due to the undercarriage covers. I used blocks under the back wheels and it worked fine.

don't care for plastic ramps. I've used these on C5,C7 and will use on my C8.

Yep, also not scary at all even for 1o inch stanchions if you have two jacks and alternately raise each every few inches. I also use my home made stanchions that are ~7 inches high. Heck you don't need to stand changing oil, only enough for you and a drain pan! Here are some pics of me jacking my C7 to change oil. For the C8, since the drain plug is in front of the pan only need to jack the rear as the oil will drain to the front.

Used 2 Jacks, with stanchions under the rear wheels and jack stands in the front to get the car level. Plenty of height for my drain pan, wrenches and me!

The C7 needed to be lifted on both ends to have the car level to get all oil drained and deal with the two plugs. The C8 only needs the rear lifted as the sincethe single drain plug is in the front of the pan.

The safest way to work on a lifted car is stanchions. Have these 12 inch high I used when building my street rod. It took a 2 step jacking process but since it was up in air several months installing exhaust, trans cooler etc it was worth the effort.

Used my ~7 inch stanchions to install side skirts, splitter and AC Condenser mesh protectors.
