Anyone else having problems with the Frunk?
Mine will not open with the front buttons under the nose or by using the Key FOB?
Can only open by using the manual release under the dash?
Have done all the available updates and even the Dealer has no quick fix? Would need an appointment to tear it apart to see if it's mechanical or electronic issue?
A handful of people have had a solenoid problem with the front latch. It requires a replacement part to be ordered. So, yes you will need to take it to the dealer.
It seems most of the failures are from the Nov. 2020 build month, and mid 16000 vin numbers. Mine is waiting for the dealer ordered frunk actuator. I'm wondering if there will be a shortage of these.

Mine has failed too but it has yet to be repaired. I'm waiting till spring because I live in the MI snow. The car was a September build, mid 11000 vin.
My frunk won’t open with the button near the grille area, BUT is still able to be opened with the key fob and button inside the car. VIN is in the 14,700’s.
