My experience there backs up everything you said. The meeting with Classic was friendly, but mostly business like. I seemed to know more about the C8 situation than the sales person did, which was a surprise to me.
They are a high volume fleet (trucks) sales dealership. I don't think they really care much about increasing Corvette sales.
I called my local deal ...spoke directly to the sales manager and said "I'd like to get on the list to order a C8"... he responded with "what is a C8?"... this was a week ago.
Zymurgy - maybe someone should explain the delivery process to this gentleman. My understanding their is a split between truck and rail in Texas. So he can be schooled in that process also.

For sure. MacMulkin rolls out the Red Carpet for you. All the way from phone calls, to email contacts. You are treated like they really care about your business. Thank goodness for this forum! Otherwise I would not have known.

I was # 777 on Nov 13, now #253 and expecting an April allocation. A June or July delivery would be only 7-8 months from initial deposit to driving a C8!

the OP is in the DFW area - it will go by Truck if he opts for a courtesy delivery in the area. Of course, NCM and MacMulkin are by Truck should he choose either of those options for delivery.

Touche! Were it not for this forum, I'd still be on my local dealers wait list. As they deal mostly with SUV's and Pick-ups. Instead I've had my first Vette C8 from MacMulkin, for 5 months now.
