With a fine point marker you can touch it to the stitch and you can watch the ink travel through the stitch. Uchida Marvy fine point fabric marker is another brand recommended by in someone's comments. If you do this start in the least visible area to make sure it looks okay.
I used a artist loft pen on a Toyota. It look good until it faded. I than used a Uchida Marvy Cherry color on the same thread. Their red was on the light side. The cherry is a darker red than the C8. It has only been about a month and the color has not faded so far. It looks good but is not as bright as the C8 red stitching.

I wonder if it matches red mist well being a darker red
I have a Red Mist 3lt with black interior and red stitching. The Cherry uchida color is a little darker. It would look fine, just not as flashy as the factory red.
I see on the pix with factory red stitching the floor mat stitching is not red - it is white.
I think the mats would look good with red stitching as well.
Not sure which interior you saw a picture of, but I got the 3LT black interior with red stitching. The floor mats are stitched red and they look great. Not sure if that is different for other interiors with red stitching (adrenaline red 2LT for example).

Pix I refer to in this thread are from 19vette
Looks like a 1LT so that's why no red stitching on the floor mats I guess.
Just delivered yesterday and I love the red on red with red stitching in this 1LT HTC. I think the colors work great together and I love that this config doesn’t have the annoying red accents on the dash that you get with 2LT. The car is amazing and the 1LT GT1 look and feel is top shelf. I would build it the same way again at $73k MSRP, and save money for aftermarket wheels and performance mods.
