Just my 2-cents
The 2021 MY will be produced through August and maybe longer if these shutdowns continue. There are still 2 months worth of allocations behind us and maybe 3 depending on what they do with June. If you moved to 2022 you will be behind others that put in and order for a 22 before we did for our 21. I doubt that has a huge impact but could have an affect. In any case, I expect the earliest I would get a NCM delivery would be in November and wouldn't have much time to drive it before winter. Based on current TPW's I expect to be in the last group of Marchies taking delivery. I will likely get mine in early August which allow me to be able to enjoy the great fall weather around here. I have been in the group that believes you should get an early model year car but in this case I really don't think it makes any difference and I don't want to wait any longer that I have to.

I started working on a spreadsheet yesterday that will answer this. I was trying to figure out who should be where or what was their original TPW and it was getting more and more dificult to track. So I went back through all 50 pages and made a spreadsheet by week showing TPW's reported by Marchies. I also show where I added the week for the shutdown/s. For now I am only adding an extra week for the latest shutdown unless someone found out otherwise. I will add a second week if and when we find out if this is a two week shutdown or not.

Yes, it's quite a full time job keeping track of all of this..I posted my "combined" build week chart (and my methodolgy) in the spreadsheet thread. It seems "most" of those who haven't revised their tpw are moving up by the two weeks, and most of those who revised between the two shutdowns, are moving up by 7. (But not all fit that model), so there is definitely some error, but I think you'll be close...

Bob, the latest postings on revised TPWs are not encouraging. Still, I think we COULD get news on a batch of new 3300s on Friday morning (from Thursday). I fear these new long slides in TPWs could be flagging another week shutdown. Hope that’s NOT cas!

I am not a March allocation (I am April), but my tentative TPW has gone from 7/12 to 7/19 and now today it went to 8/2. Its crazy.

Not convinced that all cars at 3000 will be built regardless of what is said. If GM continues to have shutdowns and can not obtain the needed parts there is only 7 months left in 21. Can't build 21"s in 22.

Went to 3000 March 23. I was originally 6/7, then moved to 6/14, then moved to 6/28 right after the previous shutdown. Now at 7/5 as of today.

Well, I know you're not alone in the hope that the latest shutdown is only this week... The guy who broke the news indicated there was some concern about it lasting longer from the outset, so hopefully whatever triggered this one is able to be resolved over the coming days. I'm going to stay hopeful, but in the back of my mind, stay prepared for the worst. Like you, I have been very close the past two weeks to leaving the fine people in the "forever 3000" club for greener pastures, only to have the rug pulled out from under us at the last minute. But imagine how the workers who do the work of building the car must feel...being layed off, recalled, layed off, recalled, with little notice. I'm sure that's tougher for them than for us.

Anyway...unless "everyone" is reporting a 3 week slip, I'm not sure we can read too much into those who have been (beyond their obvious frustration) shifted three weeks. Even before the shutdown, some people had moved here and there. And, there is a 4 day week involved. So, some who were later in the weekly plan may move out a day, putting them into the third "week", but it's really just because the day slipped due to the holiday. So what looks like a 3 "week" slip, is really only due to a weekend. So far, it seems the general trend is 2 production week slip, thus my desire to remain hopeful....

There were a lot of people who said the same thing in 2020. They were all wrong. And I believe there were a lot more at 3000 then than now. GM wants to build cars and sell them...they need the money....

That was my brief summary, here's the actual response I received...

Just now I asked for the Concierge agent via the chat but no one in the Concierge team was available for a chat session. The chat agent provide me with the Corvette Concierge phone number: 866-424-3892. I called this number and asked the CC agent if the plant will begin production next week, I received one word answer - Yes.

This spreadsheet is a history of all the TPW's reported on this thread and thru some PM's as well. I recorded the TPW's by the week they were reported on the thread. Every date in black text is a date reported by the member. The dates in green text are the actual build date for each member. The dates in red text are where I added a week to the last date reported by the member to account for each shutdown. I replaced the red text with black text when the member receives an actual TPW later during the week of the shutdown. I am going to wait a few days to see if we get more updates and find out if the last of the March group will be pushed to 7/12 or not before I apply this to the spreadsheet I have been tracking. Please let me know if you find any errors.

If it even remotely approaches that possibility, we will have much larger issues to worry about than MY2021 C8s being built in 2022. You're talking about 4 more months worth of shutdowns to cause the current slate of 3000s to be push to next year.

I inquired yesterday and the new TPW is 6/21/21, that is one week later than the original date.

Well I let curiosity get the best of me and I emailed Shane for any word on my TPW. His response was that my TPW has changed to 7/19. I had hoped it would have just been one week (7/12) but it was not to be.

The wait continues…

@Boomer38 please update your spreadsheet sir.
