Almost all colors will show the same in different lighting conditions. It’s just the way light reflects in different angles.

Happened on all 8 of my Corvettes, albeit more pronounced on my Arctic White ones.

Example

Hood and top of bumper look darker than front of bumper.

After consecutive work trips to Guam then Canada while the C8 stayed tucked away in the garage, it was nice to take it out again in this great weather. While walking back to it, I shot this from the kitty corner at 10x zoom while admiring how the sun hit it and the subtle sporty cues from the Z51 splitter and spoiler.

It's a cool color. When GM announced last spring there would be no more Caffienes produced I had to change my color on 2 deposits at local dealers. I changed one to the Red Mist, and one to the Hypersonic Gray.
