In a hype of all this ceramic detailing products, i think good old carnauba is doing just fine.

It does, for a few weeks and then it's back at it again. Once you've had a car ceramic coated, you'll never go back. Makes clean up stupid fast and easy and it lasts for years.

yes, I have become a ceramic believer. I have always been a hard core detail guy: clay bar, swirl removed via a random orbital, and Souveran carnauba wax. Since my sports cars have never been my daily drivers, the wax application would last a few months. But as someone said, I would be right back at it again. Well, i am 59 now and I have come to believe that ceramic coating will provide a shine like I have never seen before, and will last for several years with minimal upkeep. I am ok with hanging up my detail tools for good.

Not yet a 'vette owner, BUT... ceramic hybrids, such as Griot's, Maguiar's, Mother's, Adam's etc, are hard to beat for

Ease of Use
Water Beading
Lasting Shine.
"Protection"

Waxes are harder to apply, harder to buff, have a shorter "lifespan".. but

Have DEPTH.

If you are applying a coating for "therapy" .. (I know the feeling) it's hard to do better than a top quality paste wax,.. Zymol, Pinnacle, Griot's.. etc,.. but it you wish superior protection with ease of application... spray on wipe off hybrid ceramic gives that new car shine.

Not sure which wax you are speaking of, modern waxes are super easy to apply, wipe off in a couple swipes and don't need buffing.
What is a hybrid ceramic?

I agree and exactly what I always come back to... the same as I used detailing cars at a small-town Chrysler dealership in the early '60s.

What is a hybrid ceramic?
Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions is one
Meguiars hybrid is another
Griot's ceramic 3 in 1
Mother's Ultimate Hybrid.

I have found if they're easy to apply, AND easy to remove, they don't offer the protection of the "harder" waxes.. The greater the carnuba content, the harder to use, the deeper the shine...
Yes there are Spray On .. quick waxes that are very easy to use.. they last 3 days to 2 weeks... Concours type waxes take more effort but again don't have the saying power.. at least in my experience... .Paste waxes always last longer than spray one (again in my experience with carnuba waxes) .. BUT ..

Meguiar's Hybrid, .. Wash your car, leave wet, spray on HOSE OFF, and dry does a fine job EASILY. .. better protection than wax, AND easier to use.
Griot's 3 in 1 ceramic wax isn't any harder to use than detailer. ... .. ..

with any of these.. waxes, ceramics, etc, .. best to wash, and clay before application.

What is a hybrid ceramic?
I use a hybrid ceramic on my daily driver cars that live outside. It’s just as easy to apply as regular spray wax but last longer. It’s also more forgiving than more professionally style ceramics so you can easily strip it off and try something else if it comes along.
With permanent ceramics you have to boost it from time to time anyway, so it’s pretty much a wash in time savings. Touching up spray wax after a wash job takes me 15 min. Some hybrid ceramics are wax as you dry type so they don’t anymore time anyway. You can also lay a base coat hybrid ceramic and top it with a second coat of carnauba for depth. It’s very versatile.

Looking great, it is difficult to get a shine on a white car. The Vossens fitment is nice, lowered correct?

I have used GTechinque's ceramic sealant (C2 Liquid Crystal) purchased on Amazon followed by a coat of Collinite Carnuba. Since I detail my own cars, decided to invest in a Flex XC 3401 dual action orbital polisher. Great for polishing and paint correction.

I’ve been through so many carnauba waxes I can’t even count them all; Meguiar’s, Mothers, Griot’s, Zymol, P21S, etc. But then I tried Adam’s Graphene last year. Six months later and it still repels water, dirt, bird droppings, etc like the first day I applied it. Never going back to the carnauba ritual, I’m too old for all that work!

I love cars, but I'm to the point I don't want to spend my free time cleaning and waxing them. I spent a day doing paint correction and ceramic, now all I do is rinse the dirt off and I'm done.

Why is that? If you can apply wax or sealant, you can apply a longer-lasting DIY ceramic product for less than $70. It's actually less work than a regular wax.

I don’t find regular wax work at all. The work is washing the car, drying the car, cleaning the rims, applying tire detailer, vacuuming, wiping dust off of the interior surfaces, cleaning the inside of the windshield, etc. Waxing is the easy part.

Was one 60 ml bottle of Adam's Graphene enough for the C8? Found one on Amazon.

Depends on what type of wax you're using. Not all wipe/buff off equally easily. I don't wash my car the normal way - waterless only - so my wash routine is very quick and simple.
